Our Organisation

NZUSA is owned by its members who are a range of students’ organisations from across Aotearoa. At the end of each year, our members meet at NZUSA Congress, where the major organisational decisions are made (budget, constitution, levies). Throughout the year, the National Council, made up of member and affiliate presidents, are the primary decision-making body. They are largely tasked with deciding on campaigns, policy and strategies. The Board are the governing body of NZUSA, and take care of financial oversight, employment matters and internal policy.
