This statement is written in response to the attendance of an anti-trans activist who was endorsed by the New Zealand Immigration Services, to hold two events in Pōneke Wellington and Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. The statement focuses on how trans rights are student rights, and the importance of upholding the trans community in Aotearoa.
